Campsite Description

A wonderful, secluded site set in the wooded grounds of a 15th century château, only a few minutes from the centre of the medieval cathedral city of Quimper. There is a stunning new pool complex, which is beautifully designed to include fountains, cascading water features, jacuzzis and waterslides. Services are housed in attractive courtyard buildings behind the reception at the entrance to the site, allowing the camping area to enjoy peace and quiet. Pitches are level and grassy and are separated by hedges and trees. For extra comfort and luxury, 120m2 'Premium' pitches are requestable, which include a barbecue, fridge and patio furniture. There's an excellent, new restaurant 'Au Potager de Lanniron' in a restored farmhouse, and a nine-hole practice golf and putting green provide additional entertainment for all the family. Beautifully manicured gardens descend to the banks of the River Odet, where canoeing trips are arranged. Location: Roscoff 91km, Quimper 2km.

From the North: Follow signs to Benodet and Quimper Sud and then follow the signs 'Creac'h Gwen' and 'Camping'. As you get nearer to the site, follow signs to Camping Lanniron. From the N165 (E60): Follow signs towards Quimper sud (Troyalac'h) and Pont L'Abbe. Once on the southern ringroad, you will pick up signs to Creac'h Gwen and the Lanniron Campsite....
