The charming English-speaking owner of Camping L'Etang des Haizes offers a warm welcome to his delightful site where the ambience is ideal for couples and young families alike. Attractively placed beside a large peaceful fishing lake, the site is in a verdant orchard setting and offers well-defined, spacious pitches. A modern pool complex lies adjacent to the lake and there is a lovely wooden bar terrace overlooking the two which is the perfect spot to soak up some evening sun. In high season there are children's clubs, barbecue evenings and occasional entertainment. Sports competitions and rambling expeditions are also organised during this period. The medieval cobbled town of La Haye du Puits is withing walking distance and has several cosy bars and restaurants. Location 47km from Cherbourg. Access is from the D903 and D900.
