Campsite Description

This family-run site, situated on the edge of a pine forest and only ten minutes from the magnificent sandy beaches of La Grande Côte, is renowned for its generous, grassy pitches. Most are well defined by shrubs and some have shade. Le Logis de Breuil enjoys a peaceful, rural setting with converted farm buildings, which house the reception, games room and other services. There is a good sized swimming pool with large sunbathing area and an all weather sports pitch for ball games. The terraced restaurant is a pleasant spot for a meal on warm balmy evenings. Outside the campsite you will find a small selection of shops, restaurants and lively cafés. An excursion to Cognac is organised every fortnight subject to demand, starting in early June, and includes liqueur tasting, a river cruise on the Charente and a gastronomic meal in a local restaurant. Location: 8km inland from Royan, 40km from Saintes, access from A10. South of La Rochelle.
