Campsite Description
A member of the Castels chain situated in a very unspoilt, verdant region of France, well placed for exploring some of the lesser known, rustic villages of the Loire. The owners of the charming little château have created a delightful site with a very friendly atmosphere, making it one of the most popular with our customers. All the facilities are in superb condition and the swimming pool is a great attraction for families with young children. Best of all, the site overlooks a small lake suitable for inflatables and beginner windsurfers. The pitches are well-defined, large and grassy, and there's also a special area for motorhomes for short stays. This area hides a wealth of little châteaux, churches and pretty towns and villages to explore, as well as marked out footpaths in the woods around the site. It is a good low season choice as facilities are open all season. Location: 41km west of Montluçon and 50km from A71.
