Campsite Description

This Castels site is situated in 20 acres of meadows and woodland midway between Sarlat and Les Eyzies, making it a perfect base for visiting the castles, prehistoric caves, medieval monuments and gastronomic haunts of this region. An attractive pool complex including a baby slide is the focal point of the site. It offers a generous sunbathing area and is overlooked by the popular bar. The restaurant is also well worth a visit, serving up traditional local cuisine. Individual pitches are all a good size, some in a level grassy part with others on terraces in a wooded area. In addition to the well-stocked fishing lake, the site's proximity to the river means canoe trips are organised several times a week. Other offerings include horse riding and professional massages from a visiting practitioner, along with sporting activities and evening entertainment.
