Campsite Description

This small site lies at the peak of a gently meandering hill, set in a beautiful lush valley in the southern Auvergne region. It is an excellent choice for those looking for a quiet spot to unwind and enjoy some lovely unspoilt rolling countryside. The grounds extend to over 30 acres, with spacious grassy pitches that are well-defined, and there are wide meadows leading down to the small river running along the boundary of the site. For those who really want to get away from it all there is a 'wild' area with basic facilities and kitchen with cooker on the opposite side of the river. There's a large field used for sports activities, and a small, heated pool with paddling area, which is a lovely place to cool off and relax. In high season, organised activities include children's entertainment, horse riding, mountain biking, walking, canoeing, fishing, campfire and music evenings. The site has been awarded the Clef Verte label for its eco-friendly management. Location: 35km south of St Etienne. Access is from the N88.
