Campsite Description

Camping Le Champ du Moulin lies in a picturesque Alpine valley, sitting on the edge of the Parc des Ecrins (France's largest National Park) and resting next to the gushing white waters of the Vénéon River. It is run by an enthusiastic couple and is an ideal location for walking holidays and a host of other outdoor activities. The cable car (300m from the site) runs all year round so it is possible to explore the magnificent scenery from the glistening mountain peaks in any season. The modern facilities are highly maintained, the grassy pitches well-defined and adjacent to the site is an excellent public heated swimming pool which is open from the end of June until the end of August (with special prices from 5pm to 7pm for those staying at Camping Le Champ du Moulin.) The site can also order ski-passes at a reduced price provided they are contacted at least one month prior to the date of arrival. Location: Access is from the A41 via Grenoble.
