Campsite Description

In the heart of sunny Haute Provence, hidden in the lavender fields not far from the superb scenery of Les Gorges du Verdon, Camping Le Moulin de Ventre is the epitome of peace and relaxation. Set on a 70-acre estate, the site borders a small lake suitable for small boats and also has a river with rock pools passing through it. The attractive wooden-beamed bar and restaurant serves delicious regional specialities on the terrace where it is possible to seek shade from the afternoon sun under a canvas of weeping willow trees. Occasional entertainment is organised by the site in the high season. The pitches are level and grassy and most offer some shade. The old Provençal town of Forcalquier lies to the west of the site and is home to a very pretty citadelle and square. Location: 11km from the A51 and 3km south-east of Niozelles.
