Campsite Description

A top quality site with really superb amenities and fabulous all round views of the Tyrolean Mountains, particularly the surrounding Kaisergeberge or Emperor's Mountains. Situated mid-way between Salzburg and Innsbruck and just north of Kitzbühel it is an ideal spot for a touring holiday. It has a good outdoor heated pool, a superb adventure playground for the children and excellent sanitary facilities. The well-defined pitches are level and grassy. The 'Gasthaus' built from wood in typical Tyrolean style serves local specialities and offers a warm welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is usually open from early May and the bar normally opens in mid-March. The chairlift outside the gates operates during the summer and offers easy access to some spectacular panoramas. Location: Access from A93 or A8 west of Salzburg and north of Kitzbühel, 2km from centre of Kössen.
