Campsite Description
In a beautiful setting on the edge of the Wolfgangsee, this quiet peaceful site nestles in the mountains just 40km south east of Salzburg. It is an excellent family run site with a good restaurant, modern facilities and level grassy pitches. You can hire a private bathroom in the sanitary block with steam shower or jacuzzi tub (charges apply). Camping Berau has its own beach area and jetty and boats can be hired nearby. Family entertainment is organised in the high season. There is a useful shop on-site and the nearby town of St Wolfgang has many restaurants, cafés and bars. The site restaurant and bar normally open in April and the takeaway opens in July. The region is very picturesque with charming villages and beautiful countryside. Location: 40km south east of Salzburg. Access from N158 via Bad Ischl.
