Campsite Description

Situated just outside Saumur, this is a delightful, very well appointed site, with spacious, level pitches. It offers a special warm and welcoming atmosphere that has made it a firm favourite with parents and children alike, so early booking is recommended. The fabulous pool complex includes an attractively designed children's pool, waterslides and covered pool. Children love exploring the wooded grounds which surround the site while parents appreciate the intimate ambience of the bar and restaurant. Sporty families will enjoy the multi-sports pitch, which is used for the occasional sporting competition, and a 9-hole swing golf is an added attraction. This is an excellent centre for exploring the nearby châteaux such as the fairytale Azay-le-Rideau, and the mushroom caves and troglodyte villages for which this region is renowned, plus it's a great low season choice as the facilities are all open and one of the pools is covered. Location: 8km east of Saumur on the north side of Loire. Easy access via the A85.
