Campsite Description

This is a charming site set in the magnificent wooded parkland of a 16th Century château, which is attractively laid out with a pretty fishing lake and good-sized semi-shaded pitches. The site owners are constantly improving the site, so you will find modern sanitary facilities and a popular bar that is bustling in the evening. There is also an attractive indoor pool with changing area, sauna and jacuzzi. Not to be missed is the excellent restaurant in the château with a covered terrace for warm summer evenings, which offers a good range of dishes. Regular wine tastings are organised throughout the season in the château cellar, which dates back to 1395. The surrounding countryside is excellent for walking and cycling, and circuit maps can be provided at reception along with details of famous vineyards and châteaux in the region. A limited entertainment programme is offered from early July to late August. Location: 16km from Tournus and 20km from the A6 Chalons-sud exit.
