Campsite Description

A quaint little Castels site offering comfort in a relaxing, intimate atmosphere, with spacious, open, grassy pitches, some sloping and most with good views over the hills. The focal point is an attractive little pool in the courtyard of the lovely 18th century manor house at the top of the site, where you'll also find a small shop. Situated midway between the Loire valley and Poitiers this is a quiet area which makes a good base for visiting some of the lesser known châteaux. The countryside is ideal for cycling and the site owners offer a wealth of information about the region. Occasional entertainment is organised in the high season including guided walks and aquagym, wine tasting and cognac tasting. The fascinating Futuroscope amusement park with its innovative attractions is less than 30 minutes away and makes a great day out. Location: Easy access from A10 and N10, 73km south of Tours, 6km north of Châtellerault.
