Campsite Description

This well-run site is right next to a superb, long, sandy beach renowned for its magnificent sunsets. The committed site owners offer a very warm welcome and have created a friendly French ambience. A large well-equipped play area in the adjacent sand dunes and a child-friendly pool make the site a particularly good choice for families with young children. The spacious grassy pitches are all separated by hedges and some also have shade. In high season, family entertainment is organised in the evenings. Camping Le Grand Large is well positioned for visiting this lovely unspoilt region of Normandy and if you wish to use this site as a stopover en route to or from the Cherbourg ferry, the site gates are closed between 10pm and 8am, but there is a special annexe for late arrivals and early departures. Location 5km from the D650 and 20km from Barneville Carteret.
