Campsite Description

Set in 17 acres of grassy land, on the banks of the confluence of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers, this is an idyllic site with its own beach, ideal for those seeking a peaceful holiday. The medieval village of Limeuil opposite not only offers a beautiful view from the site but it's also just a short walk over the river to reach its bars and restaurants. Most of the pitches are large, well-defined and offer reasonable shade, and there's a good-sized pool which includes a small waterslide for young children. If you enjoy an active holiday, the site has its own canoes - you are taken up-stream and allowed to paddle back at your own pace. Sporting competitions and other family activities are organised in the high season. Camping Le Port de Limeuil always proves very popular with our customers, so early booking is advised. Location: 7km south of Le Bugue, 14km from Les Eyzies and 36km from Sarlat.
