Campsite Description

This delightful, spacious site, situated along a winding unmade road is a member of the Castels chain and appeals to all age groups. The services are housed in the sandstone cottages of a restored medieval hamlet and include a vaulted wine cellar and beautiful oak-beamed restaurant. The elevated position of the pool complex, including a waterslide, affords a magnificent view over the luscious rolling hills of the Dordogne. The well-defined pitches are on grassy terraces or in a shady wooded area. There is a wide range of activities in the high season including a children's club for 4-12 year olds, aquagym sessions, football, karting, canoeing (once a week, on the Dordogne near Sarlat) and family dance evenings. Discos are held 3 nights a week in high season, in the purpose-built soundproofed underground disco. The services are open most of the season so it is an excellent low season choice. Location: 8km from Souillac and A20 and 15km from Sarlat.
