Campsite Description
Situated on the outskirts of the village of Arès, on the Arcachon basin, La Cigale is a delightful little site where the charming owners have created a warm family atmosphere. Beautifully maintained with pretty floral displays, the good-sized pitches are flat, well defined and shaded by pine trees. The attractive pool is a great place to relax or have a refreshing dip during the day, and there's a varied programme of family activities on offer during the peak season, including boules, football and dancing. There is also a 'Nature Club' for children once a week in high season. The site owners are particularly fond of animals and have donkeys, horses, dogs, cats and birds. Nearby Arès has many restaurants, lively bars and cafés and is just a short walk from the campsite. There is a lagoon with a good sandy beach about 1km away, ideal for swimming. Location: Access from A10 and Bordeaux 48km.
