Campsite Description

Sitting peacefully in the heart of the Dutch bulb fields, close to Rijnsburg (one of the most important flower centres in Europe) this family site has modern, well-maintained amenities and very friendly staff. The snack bar/café is ideal for a light bite or a takeaway meal, whilst the 'Taveerne' restaurant is perfect for a traditional Dutch dining experience. There is a small outdoor heated pool and a fantastic indoor pool with a unique children's complex. Away from the facilities, the pitches themselves are level, grassy and well-defined. Many cycle tracks lead directly from the site to nearby tourist spots including the Dutch beach resorts of Scheveningen and Noordwijk although there are also some paths which meander through the nearby countryside of bulb fields where it is possible to spot the odd windmill or two. Some family entertainment is also organised during the Dutch school holidays. Location: Access is from the N44/A44, 19km north of the The Hague.

Local Directions

Leave the A44 motorway at exit 7, take the road signposted Rijnsburg. After about 1.3km you will come to a roundabout go straight across, you will then arrive at another roundabout, go straight across again. Follow signposts towards Koningshof .
