Campsite Description

A delightful site in a superb location on the banks of the Lac de Sanguinet, La Rive offers something for all the family. Pitches vary in size and most are clearly defined and sunny. The focus of this site is the fantastic pool complex, providing endless enjoyment for the children. The excellent facilities include a heated aquatic games area, covered pool, jacuzzi, paddling pool and sunbathing area decorated with palm trees. The site owners are planning a new tropical themed heated swimming pool for 2010. In high season, the animation team organise a variety of entertainment from archery and aqua-aerobics in the daytime to discos and karaoke in the evening. The gently shelving lake beach offers an ideal spot for launching windsurfs and small sailing craft. Waterskiing and ringo rides are organised on the lake, and you're just a 20-minute drive from the surfing beaches on the west coast. As most of the services are open all season, this campsite is a good low season choice. Location: 65km south of Bordeaux.
